From papal property to military fortress, from ducal residence to family home. The history of Scavolo Borgo is a layered narrative that today, thanks to the vision of Ambra and Matteo, the founders of the project launched in 2021, is transforming into a new, fascinating chapter: that of a gathering place where conviviality is the true beating heart.
Tucked away in the quiet countryside of Sant'Agata Feltria, Scavolo Borgo is not a simple hotel, but a scattered retreat where every space is designed to welcome, inspire, and make every guest feel at home. It is a space for lifestyle enthusiasts in search of authentic experiences, a meeting point for travellers alone or with company, and, above all, a home for friends and friends of friends.
The project, inaugurated in May 2025, is articulated in three distinct and complementary souls.
Locanda Scavolo is the first building of the hamlet. Inside, four rooms on the upper floors overlook the pool and the rolling green hills. But it is on the ground floor that the philosophy of the place comes to life: a welcome room, a spacious communal kitchen, a music room, and a glass-walled veranda become the perfect stage for moments of encounter, relaxation, and sharing.
Here, guests can enjoy a kitchen space designed with two Very Simple: Kitchen configurations. On one wall, a full stainless steel linear kitchen accommodates the sink and appliances. In the center, a faded yellow kitchen island with a mirrored worktop provides seating, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the conviviality of the space.
The second jewel is the Scavolo Church, a sacred site whose origins date all the way back to the 1200s. Still consecrated, it stands majestically overlooking the town square, offering a unique and suggestive setting for weddings and religious ceremonies with an authentic and deeply heartfelt flavour.
Completing the offering is the Scavolo Pool, with its elegant arch shape and a dedicated baby bar, ready to refresh guests' days from spring to autumn.
