For their debut at MATTER and SHAPE in Paris, Very Simple: Kitchen and QuadroDesign have partnered to create "Gioielleria," a unique exhibition concept curated by Finemateria. This installation celebrates the aesthetic value of industrial research and raw materials. Visitors are invited to experience the intrinsic beauty of metal through precision engineering and sensory design.
The synergy highlights a profound commitment to sustainable, high-quality manufacturing. Very Simple: Kitchen brings its philosophy of pure simplicity to life with independent, customizable modules made in Italy from recycled steel. Meanwhile, QuadroDesign champions the use of noble AISI316L surgical-grade stainless steel—a fully recyclable, chrome-free material engineered to last forever.
At the heart of the exhibition, the iconic Very Simple: Kitchen system transforms into an interactive stage for exploring technical elements. Guests are encouraged to open the drawers, which act as performative devices. Each gesture reveals hidden QuadroDesign taps and components—presented as true industrial jewels usually concealed within everyday life.
This shared passion for metal craftsmanship gave birth to "Gioiello," an exclusive collection of eight stainless-steel objects for the mise-en-place designed by Finemateria. The series translates the technical know-how of both companies into sculptural tableware. Inspired by early-twentieth-century lace and embroidery patterns, these pieces are beautifully conceived for sharing and collective gestures at the table.
The collection features versatile trays, raised centrepieces, fruit baskets, and a unique butter knife. Among the designs, a small, elongated tray stands out: it can function as a centerpiece for breadsticks or as an adaptable tool along the edges of cooktops. Each object is crafted from a single metal sheet, where high-precision laser cutting defines the decoration and sheet bending achieves the ultimate utility.
