Natural Stones

 The material

Marble and granite countertops do more than serve a function; they bring a bold, timeless presence into your kitchen, each slab  tells its own story through distinct veining and organic patterns, offering a one-of-a-kind aesthetic that can’t be duplicated by synthetic materials.

Thanks to their naturally cool surface, these stones are especially appreciated by those who love to bake — perfect for working with dough and confections. Both marble and granite are sturdy and resistant to heat, though granite generally offers better protection against everyday wear like scratches or chips. Marble, on the other hand, requires a little more care. Since it’s a limestone, acidic substances like lemon juice, tomato or vinegar can leave marks if not cleaned promptly.

Care and cleaning

Use only a soft cloth with warm water or a pH-balanced cleaner to preserve the stone’s natural finish. Avoid abrasive products, bleach, limescale removers (anti-limescale), or acidic cleaners, as these can damage or dull the surface. Always dry thoroughly to prevent streaks or water spots and keep your countertop looking pristine.

Although it can withstand moderate to high temperatures briefly, we always recommend using coasters when placing hot pots and pans on the countertop.
