Quartz
The material
Quartz is a highly engineered material designed for surface applications. Unlike natural stone, it is manufactured in a laboratory by combining about 90% natural quartz powder with advanced resin technology. The result is a durable surface that offers excellent resistance to scratches, impacts, and everyday wear, making it well suited for busy kitchens.
Its key feature is its non-porous surface, which makes it resistant to stubborn stains like oil, wine, and coffee. Unlike marble, it is also unaffected by acidic substances such as lemon juice or vinegar. Additionally, this compactness ensures natural hygiene by preventing the growth of bacteria and mold without the need for sealing.

Care and cleaning
For daily cleaning, water and a neutral detergent are sufficient. The only important precaution is to protect the surface from extreme thermal shock by always using a coasters for hot pans, as the resin components can be sensitive to sudden temperature changes.
