Unveiled at Milan Design Week 2024, the project explores unexpected perspectives in the realm of custom kitchens and opens up new possibilities
for shaping the contemporary domestic landscape.

A unique collaboration that allowed us to give a distinctly warm and tactile interpretation to our functional and simple kitchens, thanks to the stylistic touch of REdDUO founders Fabiola di Virgilio and Andrea Rosso.

REdDUO come up with massive and impressive shapes, highlighting the tactility of birch wood from surfaces to all edges and corners, where the hidden beauty of plywood is revealed through an extreme roundness.

The materiality is emphasised by the craftsmanship of Luigi Tenebruso’s Gigi carpentry and involves the entire structure, matching the colour choice. The four finishes evoke the natural tones of the earth, from brown to shades of pinkish-white, butter, and green, made with pigments that enhance the wood grain. The design is completed by the FENIX® countertop, which follows the profile of the kitchen.

“For this project, we wanted to take an artisanal approach, smoothing out all the corners integrating the kitchen countertop into curves”, say Fabiola di Virgilio and Andrea Rosso.“We used a semi-transparent varnish that enhances the wood grain and leaves a random color, creating a play of shadows on the surface. It is a made to order project that can fit the needs of many homes”.
