Terrazzo
Terrazzo is a refined and durable surface made by blending natural marble chips with high-quality resins. It combines the timeless beauty of marble with the enhanced strength and reliability of quartz.
Its solid, low-porous structure provides excellent resistance to scratches and daily wear, making it a practical and stylish choice for modern kitchens. However, as with all marble-based materials, the surface is more sensitive to acidic substances. In case of spills involving acidic liquids (such as lemon juice, vinegar, or tomato sauce), it is recommended to clean the area promptly to prevent potential damage.
Terrazzo can withstand high temperatures in case of brief and occasional contact with hot foods or liquids. However, these surfaces are not heatproof; therefore, the use of coasters for hot pans is recommended.
For cleaning and maintenance, it's recommend to use a soft cloth with warm water and a pH-neutral detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals to preserve the surface’s natural beauty and durability over time.
